CIRCLE OF CARE

The Circle of Care documentary features Danette Jubinville, a mother, PHD candidate at Simon Fraser University, Indigenous Birth Doula and knowledge keeper from Vancouver, BC. 

In the documentary, we take you on a nature walk where Danette shares her traditional knowledge of plants and herbs on Burnaby Mountain. She also invited us into her home where we meet her daughter Keestin, who is already receiving lessons. She is a great helper, as you will hear in the documentary. 

We also briefly introduce you to a few members from the ekw’í7tl Indigenous doula collective. 

Our documentary is a story of Indigenous resurgence, knowledge keeping and care.
